Hey, family!
In March, Pastor Dave finished his second three year term as a Vertical Elder and has officially stepped off the team.
There are not words to convey how grateful we are for how he has faithfully loved and served both the body and the other pastors since the beginning. He has spent hours upon hours sitting with people in their suffering, counseling and walking alongside them-and to this I can personally attest. He has been a friend, a father, and a spiritual leader to many. Vertical has four pillars, but if we'd have to add a fifth, I'd propose it's Pastor Dave!
In order to honor him for his time serving as an Elder, we want to commission you to encourage him by writing a thank you letter to him and bringing it with you on Sunday, June 21st when we officially honor him. If you need, there will be blank cards set out in the lobby on the 14th that you can take home with you to write your letter.
